Great for location and value for money

The breakfast was great, especially having the packed breakfast to go on our last morning. The handy in the room was fab for directions and the bed really comfy. The location was perfect tho, right round the corner from the hop on hop off bus stop and a 30 min walk to the gardens by the bay. Loads of cafes, restaurants and bars in walking distance too.

We didnt have an opening window in the room and you had to climb over each other to get in and out of bed!

Good place to stay

Check-in and check-out were quick. Reasonably sized desk to do a bit of work. Bed and pillows were comfortable and not squeaky. Bottled water is always replenished each day. You can choose from three different hot breakfast dishes, and the person managing the orders was polite and friendly.

Getting to the room was like walking through a labyrinth, but you remember the way quite quickly. The air-conditioner is quite loud, so you may need earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. No power socket near the head of the bed. Can be awkward closing the bathroom door because it swings through most of the floor space.

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. The fridge in the room was a bonus. The blackout curtains were good

The globes were low wattage which made the room dull. We could only access the bed from one side which was inconvenient.

Located in the oldest Singapore neighbourhood, this renovated palace looking house sport very comfortable rooms with all amenities (WIFI, Airco, nice bathroom). Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. I tried all the Asian one (rice, riceporridge, ...), the yogurt/muesli/fruit and the English one, all were good and filling. Restaurant staff was lovely and helpful.

Though the interior of the room felt a bit aged, it was still very clean and well maintained. Staff in the front-desk was very friendly and helpful, especially would like to point out one young woman who did the check in - one of the best services I've had - professional yet friendly.

Breakfast selections were not the best.

A comfortable bed, pleasant and helpful employees, and a great location!

As a solo traveler, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. The room was small however, the design helped it feel larger. The location in Singapore is perfect, especially if you enjoy walking. The front desk person was exceptional, warm and helpful. I am traveling for the next few months and will consider staying again with this hotel chain. It nice to know I can count on cleanliness, pleasant employees and a certain standard. The breakfast included in the price of the room was fantastic, a full on meal.

There was an on and off again smell in the bathroom. I did not report it since it was sporadic.

A wonderful start to a holiday in a great location.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean, comfortable Quiet room. Very interesting area. Excellent restaurant next door. Recommended.

The coffee at breakfast was a disappointment.

Good location, friendly staff, beautiful heritage hotel.

Delicious breakfast, clean and comfortable room, staff is friendly, even have umbrella service on rainy day, iron and dryer in each room. Hotel deco is great, good for OOTD. Location is dabomb - near to bus stops, good good, sup tulang merah Deen is just beside hotel, Maybank and 7e is just accross the road. Bag drop before check in and after checkout. Totally will come back.

toilet does not have pipe, only one water source which is from ceiling shower. sink is clogged, but give it some time it will flush. breakfast is provided 1 meal per person only, but free flow of coffee, water, breads, jam and fruit.

Very close to many attractions.

Very close to many attractions. Very quiet and very interesting architecture.

The ceiling is very thin , can hear people walking upstairs . Towels seems old and shower not consistently hot

Good enough

Facilities were clean, staff was superfriendly, good breakfast (but not excellent). They offered free water, which is kind of standard in these countries but always good to have! Bed was comfy, aircon worked properly and I loved the shower!

Wi-Fi connection was terrible: very low signal at our room, disconnecting every other minute, impossible even to read the news online! There was no window in our room, which made us feel a bit 'imprisoned'. Sink was outside the bathroom, which was a bit weird.
